The cheesey grin really made me laugh, I can’t tell if he’s super happy or just really badly faking it.

  2. josh bomb Says:

    <3

  3. Television Spy Says:

Lol what’s the source for that picture, that’s hilarious perfect shot.

Extra Points for anyone who noticed the hand on the bottom right handing Obama a piece of paper.

  4. Matt Says:

    I can haz mecksican?

  5. coolingstar9 Says:

Obama was so happy, I believe he has the confidence in winning the presidential post.

  6. fogues Says:

That hand holding the paper says something else to me. Looking closely, the tip of a finger is visible on the right side of the image. I am envisioning that dude looking at this piece of paper (being the check) pointing and saying with surprise, “This guy ordered a shitload of food.”

  7. Joe Boomer Says:

That smile makes me so happy.
    :D

  8. obamasucks Says:

obama sucks. mccain all the way. dont vote for this white hating black man.

  9. GoBama Says:

Obama’s candidacy will bring all the race-bating bigots out of the woodwork claiming that HE is racist. Thanks, OS man, above for reminding us what that ugliness looks like. Really, thank you, and you may go back under your rock now and turn Faux News back on.

  10. kelbart Says:

look again. hes not faking it, hes just happy.

  11. Invisible Sammich Says:

As long as he never gives us a reason to equate him to Ceiling Cat, I think all will be well.

  12. hansen Says:

I sooooo want to put a star on his forehead!

  13. hansen Says:

I sooooooooooo want to put a star on his forehead!!!

  14. Wow Says:

Hansen really wants to put a star on Obama’s forehead.

On a more serious note, I love this picture, it makes me feel happy. I’ve always been a Ron Paul guy, but I’d vote for Obama in a heartbeat if Paul didn’t make it. This just makes me want to vote for Obama even more. It may sound silly, but this picture makes me feel like I can trust Obama.

  15. huh? Says:

    @wow: wow

Never thought there’d be a big Ron Paul – Obama crossover.

Probably evidence of an increasing number of individuals being fed up with the status quo in politics, as both are outsiders (to some extent).

Used to be all about McCain, but it seems like he’s leaving everything that made me like him in order to tow the GOP line. Hillary can [insert offensive, cliche here].

The question remains: will Obama be the next Kennedy (massively successful, well liked) or the next Carter (all-around good guy, generally right, but ineffective and unpopular)?

    (parenthetical commentary ftw(?))

  16. Dark Messiah Says:

Sadly, like Kennedy, assassination is also likely.

  17. jen Says:

    HE’S LIKE A CHILD! i love it.

  18. jay Says:

I had to post this on LOL President:

  19. rstevens Says:

    Hey Huh?-

It is pretty funny how that crossover worked out, isn’t it?

I figure even if he plays out like Carter, it’s a net positive. Look how much good ol’ Jimmy does and how good he makes this country look around the world with humanitarian work.

    Dark Messiah-

Let’s hope not. I wouldn’t even wish that on Cheney. (tho some painful boils from God are probably in order)

  20. ccRicers Says:

Oh dear, @ Obamasucks. Someone’s been drinking the neo-con Koolaid

  21. Prometheus Says:

Absolutely minor point, but that hot sauce he’s using (bottle on the bottom left and another on the bottom right of the shot) is this one:
    http://www.mexgrocer.com/3112.html

It’s one of my favourite habaƱero saucse-seriously hot stuff. I have the highest spice tolerance of anyone I know, and I still don’t use more than a few drops of that stuff. Maybe the grin is because he’s showing off his manly spice tolerance and/or knows that burrito is about to beat the hell out of his colon! :P

  22. Stephen Says:

    obama ftw.

  23. Windier E. Megatons Says:

    LOLbama?

  24. Perry Corbett Says:

I have some spare hope in my pocket

  25. anon Says:

Obama is not african american. Please stop referring to him as such.

  26. Typhin Says:

Dark Messiah – I dunno, even BUSH never got hit with that… And considering we’re going head-first into another Great Depression (unless something happens Real Soon Now) I’m frankly very surprised… (Not to mention all the OTHER things wrong with the monkey-man. Every time I see that face, I want to hand him a banana…)

  27. Jeremy Says:

It’s stretching the term “outsider” quite a bit to use it on Obama. Just look at all the money he’s raising from the prison / defense/ finance industries. What exactly is he outside of?

But let’s face it… he’s the kinder, gentler, more intelligent face of the establishment.

  28. Elizabeth Says:

    love it!

  29. ennasuite Says:

So what do you call it when your dad is from AFRICA and your mom is from AMERICA? I thought that meant you were African-American….

Personally, I don’t like being called AA, because both of my black parents were born in America, as were my black grandparents, and as were my black great-grandparents. So what exactly makes me African-American, four generations later, not knowing which country in Africa my great great greats were taken from, not knowing anything about Africa, and never having been there??

Don’t worry, it’s a rhetorical question, so don’t feel the need to respond. I’m not asking anyone to wrap their brain around race in America…:)

  30. Bill Vincent Says:

    ennasuite:

Agreed. Nearly every African-descent person I’ve ever had this conversation with simply called him/herself “a black guy/girl”. I’ve never met anyone who took offense at the label. It’s just a non-biased statement of fact. There sure are enough offensive labels out there that we don’t need to to try to make the non-offensive ones offensive. I certainly am not offended at being called a “white guy”. Cuz…hey….I AM a white guy. :)

  31. Nevi Says:

He looks like he has just smoked a big joint..hahaha.

  32. Michael Says:

So many ignorant people here, I hope Obama does become president!
More than half the country hates W. Bush, So why would they vote for McCain? He’s just 4 more years of Bush!
